Unknown connector under dash!

I was looking around for an open connector or something to check to see if my truck is pre wired for power windows and locks. I am hoping it is , so if i get all factory parts i can just find the connector and plug it in. While i was looking under my DS dashboard i found this connector with a plug in it. I do not have any idea what it is from. There are 6 pins from the connector, and i did not write down the wire colors from the connector, but i can if needed. Sorry about the blurry pics, my camera is no good.

Note Where it comes out of the main harness.

That looks like the clutch switch connector fitted with the jumper cap for an automatic transmission truck.

If they are present in your dash harness, the main PW/PL connectors would be under the right and left kick panels and above the passenger side airbag.

i checked the passenger side kick panel. There is a 16 pin connector, and from previous posts that i have read that is the connector for the power windows/locks. The only problem is mine only has three wires coming out of it and also going into it. They are for the speaker, so it does not look like my harness is equipped for the power windows/locks. The only other thing i can think of is to follow the wiring harness that has the 16 pin connector on it and see where that plugs in, if it even plugs in. I am trying to find someone with an 01-03 ranger with power windows/locks so i can take the passenger side kick panel off and take a look at it. If anyone knows of a picture out there of the passenger side kick panel wiring that would be great, or if your willing to take a picture of yours. Thanks.

Since you only have 3 wires on either side of the 16-pin, it is clear that your dash harness is not wired for the Power Equipment Group. Here's the 16-pin on the PS of my 2003 with the factory PEG. There are 14 wires in that connector.

if i got this harness from another vehicle would i be able to plug it in somewhere, or is it even worth all the effort to fab a harness for my truck. An after market kit will be able to give me everything i need, but i wanted it to be stock.

That would require changing out the entire dash harness which takes forever. I would get a Ford Wiring Manual and make an overlay harness from scratch before I would swap a dash harness.

This is too much trouble just to have everything stock. I can get an after market kit and mod it into the stock door panel switches ( correct me if i am wrong). This will be alot easier than trying to implement a stock harness.
