Broke Radio Antenna how do i fix it?

Broke Radio Antenna how do i fix it?
Well i over tightened my radio antenna and broke it off in the base. How do i go about getting the piece out of the base so i can screw the factory one back in?

Go get a new antenna kit from the parts store with the whole base and everything

i meant like the base on the truck not on the antenna

the little plastic cover snaps off and theres three screws.

go to a junkyard and grab another antenna and base.

You can use an E-Z out if you have one. I have black and decker ones from Home Depot.

he needs a new antenna anyways, i would just go the junkyard route.

yeah, get something small and pull up on it, i used my pocket knife when i took mine off to paint.
