i'm replacing my coils and spark pug wires to see if my 21 year old ignition system is the blame for my poor gas milage, and i'm not going to get the cheep *** motorcraft coils, soo what do you guys think of accel coil packs or is there a coil pack with a similar cost that might be better?

 

Some people say they have good results with the Screamin' Demon coil. I'm still waititng for mine to show up. So, no review on it for me yet.

 

Well be sure to post up what you find Ray! I've always wondered about this. I have read that if you don't gap the spark plugs you won't notice much but if you go to the .066 gap if I can remember correctly..it does make a difference.

 

I probably won't be re-gapping because of the blower but hopefully it will show an improvement anyway.
