What are these relays? 1998 4.0 4x4

What are these relays? 1998 4.0 4x4

I can't find in the owners manual or the haynes manual a mention of this relay box. It's under the dash, basically above the gas pedal. There are 8 relays, all the same multi-use relay.

What are these?

That's what I figured, but there are 8 of them. Is the anti-theft system routed through there too?
