Wierd ABS/brake dash light problem.

Just recently (past couple weeks) my ABS/brake light on the dash comes on intermitently. At first I didn't really see a pattern but it seems to come on most often when coming to a complete stop at a light or stop sign, stays on for a little bit then turns off 1/2, 1/2 or a mile or two down the road. Everything seems to function fine (I think) brakes pull a little bit but I think I may need new pads anyways. Anybody have any ideas?

Check your brake fluid to see if it is low. If it is check your brake pads and shoes. You may need new ones.

Worn brake linings make the fluid in the reservoir lower, because more fluid is staying in the caliper or wheel cylinders.
