will this work on our trucks?
I was working on this last night. (bored) I had the high filiment hooked up to running lights and the low hooked up to the turn signals. Since the low filament doesn't put out enough light, when the running lights are on you can't see the turn signals. Then I did the 'blinker mod' so that I would still have blinkers. I ended up putting the high and low filaments back to stock because the low draw of the low filament caused the blinkers to blink fast. I hate fast blinkers and I didn't have any resistors on hand.
Ever thought about the webelectric DRL module? It's what i'm wanting to do....it'll work i'm sure of it. It puts the high filament 'on' whenever the ignition switch is turned. as soon as you switch on the headlamp switch, it kicks back down to regular 'low beam'...

looking at doing this again, I printed out the online instructions for that DRL kit, now I gotta look in my wiring manual and find the correct wires to tap into...
