Hey guys, so i finally wired up the new Superwinch Tigershark 9500 yesterday! It was working great when i just had it sitting on the ground and wired up to the battery. Then today i went out and got some 25 foot 2 gauge jumper cables and wired them throughout the frame to the rear hitch and threw the winch on there until i get a front hitch welded in... Problem is that the winch makes a clicking sound when i push the spool in/out switch on the remote. I read up about it and most people said you have a bad connection or a bad solenoid. So i went over to the parts store got me some new 2 gauge battery eyelets and wired it up to the battery again (crimped, heat shrink tubed the connections so its all clean and tight.) Then on the other end checked my quick connections out... Everything was fine. Out of frustration i gave the winch a little kick (gentle of course) and boom it started working just fine! Should i tear it apart to see if there's a loose connection? It is literally a BRAND NEW winch so im doubting that the solenoid is bad?? If anyone could shed some light on this i would greatly appreciate it!

Sounds like a loose connection somewhere inside the winch ?

Thanks! I actually got it all working again, took the plastic housing off where the remote plugs in and where the positive comes into the solenoid was loose and touch other wires which i guess grounded it out, i tightened everything up and its good as new! I recently had a problem with my Superwinch disconnects, i will be emailing customer service about that because they are brand new and the plastic started melting! ill post pictures of them! I have no clue what could have caused it, i crimped the metal butt ends on correctly and pushed them all the way in securely so im not sure what the issue is!
