Winch Mount on 06 What do you think?

OK This is all I caould find, Apperantly Warn only has winch mounts up to 2003 rangers and they said "it will be quite some time before we fabricate a mounting system for the newer vehicles). SO does any one have this set-up on there rig? Does it hurt ground clearance? Will I still be able to mount a brush guard?

just get a custom brushguard made. after the other brushguard, the front mount hitch and the winch carrier, you could have one sick *** bumper custom made to your specs.

not to mention a normal brushguard wont protect **** and the front hitch will hurt front clearance...

I hear if you get a front hitch(or hidden front hitch) that you can jus get a winch that has a hitch adapter, and then you can use it on front and back.

yeah i would rather have it in the front hitch then mounted there all the time. Plus if you wire up the rear you can use the hitch in the rear hitch also.

I have one on my '04, and I really like it. Works well with my new body lift also. I'm almost positive that it will work on the '05-06. There really isn't much too it, just about a 4" piece of frame on each side. The only problem I ran into is that I had to spend an hour opening a hole in the frame with a file and sawzall to get the bolts to fit in. Not that bad though.
