wiring diagram

my stereo went out and i got a pioneer from my cousin for free is there a wiring diagram somewhere that i can go by to know how to hook this stereo up? i have a 97 ford ranger 4.0 4 wheel drive

They make the adapters or you can get a manual for your truck and it will tell you

Look on Amazon.com, crutchfield.com, or metraonline.com. One of them will have what your looking for.

All he needs is the harness adapter. I don't think that those sites can be cheeper than Wal-mart. I think they are like $8 or $9.

With shipping and all I'm sure wally mart or one of the local parts stores will be cheaper. But he can get the part number for the harness he'll need off those sites so he knows what to look or ask for locally.

Yes I believe the box does have this information. However, I believe its cheaper to let your fingers do the walking and a few phone calls to ensure they have what your looking for on the shelf by part number rather than driving around burning gas. Its call Murphy's Law.
