I got this great deal on a like new XLT 3rd Brake Light off of Ebay so I installed it and think its a nice upgrade. I wired it up to come on with the dome light so it will turn on whenver I unlock or open my doors. Also comes on with the dimmer switch.

The guy on ebay says it was new, but I will say it is like new. He doesnt know what they are for (thankfully I know that the SuperDuty, Sport Trac and Ranger all use the same light) so he markets them as a basic Ford Brake Light. He is missing out on a huge market by not knowing this. I got mine for $8.50 Buy it now plus shipping.

My 2000 had a camper shell prior to my purchase in January... The 3rd brakelight was missing and the dealer put a red generic one in instead of the multi purpose one..... I purchased one off of eBay for $5 plus shipping.....
