XLT dome light Q's...
I have one... What is the bulb size in the MAP light portion (too cold and dark and I am LAZY!). Also I want a red bulb for it... I have looked in Pep boys and such... No go only blue any online places? My first thought was it is a 194?? Is that right? Thanks

The map light bulbs are 904's.
These guys say that 904 can be replaced by 906 and they have those in colors.

hey if you can't find red lamps in an auto parts store try Westmarine or BoatsUS (actually same company now) or another boating outlet
red bulbs are pretty common in cockpits and at the helm and the bulb types are the same
you might pay a dollar or two more, but get a better bulb made to withstand a harsher enviroment

Good luck getting the new one in. My dome light fell apart when I removed it, and the bulbs had melted themselves into the assembly. They broke when I tried to remove one, and the base stayed inside the light.
It's a good thing I was replacing the light with an Explorer one, because it basically self destructed.
