The search within thread is not working for some reason but I'm still trying to find the post.

This thread mentions getting them Certifit, who carries TYC https://www.ranger-forums.com/exteri...-130642/page3/

There was a discussion between a couple guys regarding trail and error on this mod, the thread could have been deleted, but I do remember the guy kept trying Ebay ones and they determined Certifit taillights were a better choice.

TYC and Eagle Eye are the ones that are brittle and break. I didn't use TYC nor Eagle Eye on either of the only 2 existing sets that are out there. Tail light brand was of trial and error when this was made, like Justin said. I went through a few sets to find the best brand able to withstand the heat and bending

Maybe I'll make myself another set and use a different and better sealant that was recommended to me a year or so ago

And before you call someone stupid you might want to check the spelling of "BUCNH" in your signature as well as the grammar in your response where you said "But you stupid response was enough"... Just a thought big guy.

Strong? Why because I am dealing with a bunch of childish BULL ****. I ask a simple question and I get the run around

And I really dont give a rats *** about grammar, but you obviously have no life to go back and nit pick my spelling. And BTW you forgot "western" has an N at the end

O wait, I forgot the apostrophe in dont

I asked a SIMPLE question of what brand light that come a part, but like I said I got some jerk off response of HF

And you got a reasonable response from someone else, but all you could do was bitch about how you wished you had known earlier, like it was his fault you didn't know.

Like I told you earlier: Maybe you should ask questions before you start a mod if you're unsure, but if you don't ask and you screw it up, don't blame everyone else for not telling you something after the fact.

So i will sum up this thread real quick.

In a HOW TO, pertinent information such a what brand works best is left out.

Then when someone has an issue with following the HOW TO, they are belittled because they did not do enough research(apparently HOW TO thread was not enough)

Then when asked about which brand DOES WORK, a link was given(thank you)

but then the OP comes back and say NO, dont use that brand.

Then when asked again what brand does work, the OP puts a smart *** answer.

And I am the one who is wrong? Yeah, thats it

it was NOT a reasonable response because the person who did the HOW TO said, NO, dont use that brand

I'm pretty sure you can answer that question on your own since you called two of us idiots, but to help you out, I'll lay it out like this:

Who gave you the right information? (Choose One)

a) 01RangerEdge (TYC)
b) 99offroadrngr (Harbor Freight)
c) bravetitan24 (Harbor Freight)

All I'm saying is that you can't call someone stupid when you come off as pretty stupid yourself. It took me all of about 30 seconds to come to that conclusion. How about the next time you have a question, politely ask it. Don't be a dick about it.

I did ask and all I got was bull **** answers from

"do a search" when the search feature doesnt even work

And all if this is a STICKY "how to" why was it not updated with pertinent info?

And then when I asked the OP I get an ******* response

And then you chime in with your ******* response

Put yourself in my shoes and she how you would look at it

I put myself in your shoes and the other posters. All I can see it you Faking with someone who asked a question

01RangerEdge answered your question. It should have ended there. But instead you kept poking at the fact that the brand wasn't in the how-to. Even after you were told that the info wasn't know at the time, you kept going. So putting myself in your shoes, I would have asked what brand to get and that would have been it. There was no need to get all bent out of shape like you did.
