I know it's pretty simple, but thought someone might need some help with this. My truck is a gen 2, so I don't know what other gen's are like but here it is.

start by pulling the window crank cover off, and remove the torx screw.

then, remove the door handle bezel.

and then the screw in the door pocket

after all that you can pull the door panel off, it's best to use a door clip removal tool so they don't get damaged.
Next, remove the bracket that supports the arm rest.

After peeling the plastic back, put the window crank back on and roll it up to gain access to the rivets holding the window in place.

The best way I've found to remove the rivets, is to cut the heads off with a cut off wheel

then punch the rivet body out

now the window can be removed

the only way to get it out is to tilt the window forward, then pull up.

After removing the window, pull the plastic clips apart to put on the new window

to install them, they just snap back together

to put the window in, do just like taking it out. tilt it forward and slide it in, being careful not to scratch it. Also, make sure to get each end in the guides.

Then, use two 1/4x1" bolts and nuts to secure the window back in the bracket.

Now, you're finished. After re-installing the door panel, window crank, door handle bezel, and screws.
