its attached to the holder. the bolts screw into the solid part of the seat. noob
the part on the seat would have to be cut out if i were to take that piece

Vista 4.0 bought one from me about a year ago, Idk what he did to mount it but i think he has an 06+ not sure

Ok. I'll pm him and I'll see what he did or what year truck he had.
If not I'll make it work some way. Bending down and getting a cup below the hvac controls is lame lol.
