I wish there was a v8 option. I got the 4 banger. But you know- the 4 banger still feels as good as my 3.0 I once had (the trailhead) People claim to get 27 highway with them, so we will see about that.

WOW, that is very similar to the bumper I drew up about 2 years, but have never gotten around to it. Good to see someone has actually done one. I am stunned at the price the shop quoted. Any decent metal fab shop should be able to build one start to finish in less than 2 days - even at $100 / hour, that is only $1600 before paint. $3500 - they were either really bust or just looking to screw someone!

i was wondering that too. the only thing i could think of is mark it when you tighten it down and then if the marks are off you know it loosened up.
