I have made a few runs to the JY since the OP and nothing, an FX4 LvL II but nothing else, missed the blk console in that too but got the shift ***** and levers (sold).

I will be going back to the JY soon and will keep my eyes opens.

 

Not to hijack, but has anybody ever made one of these work (read: hacked it up) to work with a manual shifter. Obviously twin sticks would be tough/impossible but a single shifter I can see being workable.

Also, can you not order one of these from the dealer?

 

Not sure about ordering, there are obsolete parts houses but why would you want to hack up something so rare… ?

 

I use the term "hack up" but i really just mean do some dremeling/trimming, then cleaning it up with filler. It looks like you could pretty easily create enough shifter travel and room for a boot of some kind by just losing a cupholder. Might even be able to keep it.

 

I thought you meant that but where I am coming from is why hack up the Tremmor Console, the Expo full length has been done for manuals, but since these things are worth more money than a FX4 Lvl II shift set if you got one sell it and but a hurst shifter with the FX4 Lvl II boots/bezel.

And spankis, I think this console sits up kinda high. It would probably be kinda weird to have ashift lever in there.
