Yes, they work on any of the ranger tails. I also use these on Corvettes and STi's. It will work on basically any ford truck that uses 3157 tail light bulbs stock.

On the harnesses I supply the colors are:

Green - ground
Blue - positive running light (dimmer mode)
Red - positive brake or turnsignal light (brighter mode)

Yes, they will fit. You have separate amber turn signals in your 94 so these will be brake lights and running lights. You can install these yourself in an hour or so, you just need to buy the parts.

Today I did my 2003 winter truck, with the stock tails I purchased from one of the members on here. Also did the CHMSL 3rd brake light with an LED panel

2 pics and a movie:

alon....from the side at night with the running lights, yes they are dimmer than factory incandescants. But anything else, like from behind and when the brakes are hit, there is a HUGE improvement over incandescants.... Witnessed this personally shortly after I installed mine. Compared mine to Trevors and we both had the same tail housings.

something is up with your stuff or how the bulb is positioned in the housing.

you might have bought some defective LEDs from someone else, mine are guaranteed to give better results than stock.

They are yours and I was given them because the other truck was traded in.... not sure how they could be defective but it seems like they arent as bright as my stock ones, guess I'll have to park next to another ranger and see.

Alon,

Knowing you're technical, etc, I'm gonna skip the standard electrical connection, reflective material, etc. questions. lol

So it leaves us with bad LED's, jostled connection within the actual LED mount, corrosion in the mount....

Hm.... Also, when it blinks it kind of shutters and flickers, not just on/off. Is that normal for these?

Mine sorta "pulses" when the signals are flashing. Not when the brakes are hit. I think mine is an issue related to the flasher. Trevor's does the same thing.

Mine is definitely a blink. I have an off brand EP27 flasher and eBay leds in the front turn/running lights. I should mention I do have L1224Rs as well haha.

Both of my trucks (03/04) come one perfectly solid with the VLEDs flashers when the trucks are running. With the engine off and flashers on they come on slightly brighter at first and then dim the tiniest amount before flashing back off. This is normal due to the way the circuitry is inside of the L1224R heatsink.
