Did the LED mod. I put the needles back on and now the gas gauge moves in the opposite direction. Any idea how to get gauge back to where they should be? they havent self-corrected, if they should. i am lost. its been like this for a month now.

 

Fill the tank. Start it up then put the needle back on in the full position. Thats how I did a gauge swap in a PT loser

 

and I did that but it moves away from the gauge markings...not sure why. I fill it up, the needle goes to "F", where i placed it, then it moves in the opposite direction that it should.

 

im not sure if theyre on any type of springs but maybe that has to be turned back the whole way...
