How is it done?

How do you get the trim panel under the steering column off in a 2000 ranger?

Which one, the knee bolster trim or the lower trim on the column itself?

There are 4 screws along the bottom edge and two of them do double duty to mount the hood release lever mechanism. Once the plastic cover is off, there is a steel plate above it held on by 5 bolts.
