2001 driver side seat adjuster broken

I recently did a swap on my 1995 ford ranger 40/60 bench seat with newer 2001 40/60 seat ... they work great and only have one problem ... the driver side front seat adjuster is broken. The passenger side work beautifully

I tried everywhere to find an replacement back adjuster assembly ... with this number: F87Z-1362649-BB well found one on eBay one month late as it was sold in April this year.

Does anyone have an idea to make the adjuster to loosen up and make an redneck fix to make it adjustable anytime? I'm asking cuz I have cup holder arm rest i wanna installed myself

Here's an pic of passenger side so anyone can get an idea what I dealin with

Thank you in advance :)
