60/40 seats

I have an XLT, which has at least 20 cigarette burns in the seats and armrest from the previous owner. I'm looking for seat covers, not to cover the originals, but to replace them. Found a place, but they only will do the XL. Stopped at a dealership today and they couldn't tell me the difference between the XL seat and the XLT, except the XLT were an upgrade and came in cloth. Mine are cloth and are 2 tone. One of the guys thought the headrest on the two may be different. Any thoughts?

I just used some seats out of a 2006 Ford Escape.

Was that a direct bolt on? I like that.

Far from it.
You'll have to cut the tracks off, and use the Ranger's. Then make some adapter plates to tie them together. Then if you want them to fold forward, you'll have to cut that round disc out, and rotate it 1/3 and weld back. Otherwise they only lean backwards. Some places I could bolt through, and some places, I had to weld a stud in for clearance reasons. The seats definitely sit nice though, and there are plenty of them in the junk yard. I used the cushions from the passenger side, since they get less wear and tear.

I would also be curious about options to refurbish my 60/40 in my standard cab. We don't have much for upholstery shops in my area. Don't really want to go through the hassle of seat swapping.
