94' Interior Swap question

Ok Hello I am new here as well as a new Ranger owner.......Questions, My interior is Red and I dont like it, I am worried that the paint ( if I painted it ) may come off, so I was going to just use some interior from another truck. What years will swap out with a 94" standard cab 4x4 ?
Also I need a 60/40 seat for an extra seat sometimes.

Thanks !!

NO.

You will need a '93-'94 Ranger or '91-'94 Explorer to swap the parts from. Those are the ONLY years that will be a direct swap.

There are numerous '91-'94 Explorers in yards that are in good shape.

the air conditioning and heating and all is different after 94 and probably more then that but its not gonna be worth it to try to swap them out, unless you get an entire cab from a newer one, that would be the easiest, and even that isnt gonna be a bolt on swap

The holes in the firewalls are completely different places also on the '95+ Ranger/Explorers. The HVAC controlls are completely vacuum operated in the '95+ vs. the cable operated in the '94 and older.

The parts always look like **** in a junk yard once you get them home and give them a good cleaning they usually look better
