Aftermarket Floormats...

Well I am going to get some new carpet, and I am wondering what aftermarket floor mats some of you guys run. I am wanting to either get the Weathertech's or Husky Liners. I want something that can avoid getting crud on the carpet.

I was wanting this style of floor mats since they act like a bowl. But they don't make them in that for the Ranger's. My friend has them in his 04 Dodge and they rock!


They only make this style:


But then I found the Husky Liners, but they look cheapy and won't really hold any thing just slosh it around:


If you have any opinions or other brands please let me know. Maybe if they make an explorer version of the First weathertech ones they could fit in the Rangers? Same front floor design I pressume?

I have the husky liners. I had them in the ranger and they where the first thing I bought for the F-150.

Only suggestion I have is to put a vinyl floor in. I swaped my carpet for the Edge/FX4 vinyl and couldn't be happier.

I have the Catch-all Xtremes and they do ok, they need some sort of tread to stop the water from moving. I seen a pair of Michelin mats the other day at Sears, and they were pretty deep and had lots of grooves so water can't move around easily .

I don't like the look of vinyl floor I'm just going to get black carpet and keep it at that.

Are they pretty strong and durable? They say they won't corrode if oil, gas, or harsh chemical get on them. They don't move around or anything like that? I hate when floor mats move around and get in the way.

No they dont move at all, I haven't had any problems with durability, alls I do is have to take them out once awhile and dump the mud, ice, water out of them.....

How much does a set of those Husky mats run? I've been wanting a set for my front and rear for awhile now.

dude i have totally ruined my interior hahaha, when i got stuck in mud i was desprate so i used my floor mats for "traction" and now my carpet is all grungy. it bugs me because it gets my new shoes dirty lol. So let us know where you find some mats, i was going to just cut some carpet or maby Astor turf hahaha

Ebay has those Husky Liners for about $75. Also have a matching pair for the back as well for the same price. I will probably get one for the back as well just for protection if I put wet boots or shoes or something muddy back there.

Rubbermaid floormats

bought some for my truck $56 for 4 (2 up front) and (2 small for ext cab)

those things are heavy and they don't move too much on the rubber floor so if you had them on carpet well they won't move at all... I'll get a picture tomorrow of them

Lmao! That's great! I'm the only Lifted Dark Green Ranger in SJ! Or so I think...

Any who I may be leaning toward the husky liners, but still undecided...

have you seen that one kids lifted dark gray ranger i believe he has a superlift 7 bl with black rock crawlers. possibly a 98-00 its pretty coo,l and in the west san jose area

Dude, I love my Husky liners. That was the very first thing that I bought for the truck. I hate vinyl floors.

I found they do come in grey and I found a place with an excellnt price although they only carry the black liners.

Yeah why do you hate vinyl floors?

I hate my carpet. Vinyl is 100% better.

but on vynil you can rarely find some floormats that dont slide...

you dont have to have floormats just the vinyl, anf i got the huskys and love them ill never hae a nother floor mat unless its the vinyl or line-x
