Jack relocation

Anyone relocated the jack and tools? On my 05 Silverado, I moved it over to the engine bay where the optional second battery would go. Where have you guys moved them too? Pics?

You might be able to squeeze it in the engine bay, but I doubt it. They are really cramped there.

The only other place that I can think of is either in the bottom of your center consle, under the seat or in your box

It does look kinda cramped in the bay...I'll try to figure out a little spot for it.

I went to harbor freight tools one day and picked up a cheap toolbox then put the jack in that. Afterwords i placed it in the bed of my truck which has a locking tonneau on it. I just used bungees to tie it to the side. Stays put and out of the way and can always take it out easily :)

I had the same problem when I was designing my enclosure so I just got rid of mine, damn thing was useless anyways. I just carry a small floor jack in the bed. And I replaced all the plastic back wall with 3/4" MDF that I carpeted.
