Icon9 Auto dimmer/headlights prob

Ok,

I'm installing a an auto dim mirror/headlights in my 2001 XLT. I got the wires wired in with 2 relays according to install post but I dont think Im getting power. Should the mirror have a power light on it to show its on? I see a little hole (1/8" or so) on the bottom of the mirror face, looks light a light (led?) for a power indicator?
Also, will the dimmer work independently of the headlights, just trying to figure out if I have power?

I have the auto dimmer mirror with just the slide for the switch. It is out of a 1998 Explorer.

Thanks all for any troubleshooting,

When its dark outside it will light up green, just make sure the slider isnt on the off position.

Power to the mirror plug is on the RED/YELLOW wire (I believe the how-to calls it red/white). It should have voltage with the ignition on. This is NOT the same as the heavy red/yellow wire that powers the headlights, so do not connect them together.

The mirror has a green "headlights on" LED to the right of the slide bar. The small circle in the glass is for a light sensor that autodims the EL mirror when it detects bright headlights of following vehicles.

Aye, gotcha. No green lite LED on, I've got no power. I'll check my connections.

Thanks,
