Icon5 Dimmer Question

I have an 03 Edge 2wd and was just wondering what is up with my dimmer switch...it doesn't well, dim anything. If it's not up all the way it will just turn off interior the interior lights...does anyone else have this problem, and is there a fix?

Sounds to me like the dimmer switch itself is burnt out. I think it's just a variable resistant switch that has probably failed.

so would a visit to the junk yard and grab a new dimmer switch do the trick?

Well that was going to be my next question. Yes, you should be able to grab one from a junk yard or a new one from a dealer very easy. They just snap out and unplug.
