Updating My 60/40 Console
Well first off, I'm new to this site, so if this is in the wrong place, I'm sorry.
Well my 1995 Ranger had no cupholders and I have 1.) No modification know-how 2.) Manual 4x4, so the shifter takes up space under the dash, so a aftermarket center console under the dash wouldn't work. I was looking around and I saw a picture of John Grigg's 60/40 center console in his OHC how-to guide. He has the center console with the cup holder in the front-right corner.
I have what seems to be, an older model without the cup holder in the corner. I found the same console as John's on ebay, but it seems to be mounted differently. My console looks like it's only attached to the side of the driver's seat but I'm not exactly sure how the new model is mounted.
If someone could show me how the newer model is mounted and if it's possible to make the switch between the models, I would be extremely appreciative.
Here's a picture of the console I want to install:

The newer one is mounted to the same "slider" as the driver seat as it is the 60% of the seat. I think you need to recline the driver seat all the way back and you can access the bolts.....or you may need to take the seats out, at least the driver seat and un bolt it from the driver seat...

I'm going to have to check out my truck. and get back to you

Thanks for the reply! I'm pretty sure I see the rail you're talking about. I'm about 75% sure that the newer console will fit. But more information would be welcome. Anyways, so much for buying it off ebay.... Who in their right mind rebids with FIVE seconds left!? Anyways, I put up a thread in the Classified section since I can't seem to find one anywhere else.
