Carbon Fiber scrap - how does this look?

I had a scrap piece of carbon fiber sheet laying around, so I made use of it. How does this look?

Yes...it's only propped up. I haven't wired or mounted.

I'm going to have to get rid of the covered switch. I think two low-profile LED-lighted rocker switches would look better there, along with a silver vinyl label underneath it.

I don't know what to do with the other hole just yet. Considering another gauge, but it would be a tight fit and I'd have to enlarge the hole quite a bit.

not too hard to enlage hole. good idea about replacing the huge ugly switch with some nice LP ones. looks good. Love the idea. Hate the Auto Tranny :P

But seriously. i dont mean to change the subject, But i have a CD player and Panel just like yours but its setup Bacwards of yours. with the CD player on top and the itty bitty panel on the bottom. did you switch it on purpose or did i do it wrong? lol cause your idea I THINK would give better support to the CD player, Especially during Offroading fun.

i think it would be sweet to take out the consol... and mold some CF into the rear opening for switches and stuff... have it flush...

you could always mount the gauge elsewhere and put the switches in the plastic insert above your cd player? cause' Fx4 is right the fiber seems kinda out of place.
