Im looking at getting one of the cobra nightwatch cb's and im looking for a mounting point. I have a 5 speed, and alot of crap, so in between the shifter and the seat on the hump is almost out of the option. I like the idea of having it mounted between the visors. Would I just take the bracket and set it up where i want it between the visors, and drill holes and screw it in? I would like it as flush to the headliner as i could get it. Is there any box or anything i could buy that would screw into the center brace and then i could just slip the cb into there? Any Ideas?

y'all have alot of great ideas, and i am sure i am overlooking a comment ( my appologies) but i was wondering a place to mount a CB in 2002 ranger Edge, extended cab. i had some thoughts about mounting it between the visors.but am a little unsure. has anyone done this , and if so do they like the set up they have. i am open to ideas. thanks

I have a custom made tonneau that is flush with my bed rails, so I put my 4 ft antenna on the corner of the tonneau and put a metal disc underneathe to hold it on, works perfectly. If you have a little stuby one the roof would be better for it

WOW N3elz, you have so much stuff in your cab...Heres how mine is now mounted.....I know this thread is kind of old, but oh well...

The angled piece of metal, slides under the seats infront of the arm wrest....And it doesnt move anywhere, its not mounted because the seats wouldnt move forward....but it doesnt move anywhere....And its right at your fingertips...
