Ok so i have a 94 XLT and my center console is broken and i need advice on how to fix it. I dont know how it broke but, i moves not only up and down like its supposed to but it also moves left to right. It moves enough that it seems like its going to fall off, ne advice on how i could fix that?

 

you have the full length center console or the armrest?

i had that same problem in my 91, i nvr got it fixed, but i was just gona remove the whole thing, but then you got tat stupid lil pin attached the the driver seat. id say just go to a junk yard nd get a whole drivers seat, unless u got any better ideas

In my 94 I just unbolted and removed my armrest and cut out the center section of seat. Then i put on seat covers and added a console...

 

I riveted an aluminum plate between the plastic and foam of the armrest. I will never stick my elbow through it again.
