yes, 6 bulbs for the main lighting in the cluster, the ones controlled by the dimmer switch. then all the warning lights are separate bulbs.

You do realize you're gonna have to take the paint off the back of the gauges to actually get the color change.

Simply replacing the bulbs won't get the full effect.

There's a How-to to walk you through it

EDIT: try this https://www.ranger-forums.com/f59/ho...rt-leds-62796/

So what is being said here, HVAC Panels have either 194s or 74s.

We need to disassemble the ones we have just to see; doesn’t seem right ?

If it's a tiny skinny thing that looks like the little brother of a 194...then it's a 74

How do I change the cluster bulbs in 2004 edge

I have a 2004 ranger edge. I am looking into changing the cluster bulbs and want to know how difficult it will be to do. Should I let a mechanic do it or can I do it myself?

Look in the how-to section please. There's a detailed writeup on the procedure. Will take you 30 minutes tops.
