changing instrument cluster lights HELP!!!

x2. the only difference is that on a 2004, it no longer uses the 194 bulbs. I forget what size they are but they're much smaller

Since you haven't done it before, plan on it taking longer that 30 minutes. There is quite a bit of stuff that has to come out before you can get to the instrument cluster. Then you have to put it all back together. Make sure you remember where everything goes and the order it goes in. It is not hard, just kind of time consuming.

And keep up with all the screws and bolts you take out. Very easy to lose one.

I have an 04.. another thing to consider if you want to do the gauges is get some craft paint that is semi-translucent. And if you do the steering wheel cruise control pods.. you have to solder off the old green LED's and solder on the new ones.. pay close attention the the orientation of them. It's been 4 years since I did mine.. so I would have to really do all the research to answer any questions.. and you can research and find it as I did 4 years ago.
