Your interior looks really good.
I do have an extended cab, that saved me a little headache, but many others with single cabs have done the mod too. You just have to take your seat brackets off your current seats, and put them on the replacements. You don't have to worry about them not fitting, they will. You can also go to a junkyard, find a another single cab ranger, and take the bracket off of it. That way, when you find the explorer seats that you want to use, you can put them on and not immobilize your truck.
I might be able to use the passenger side but the Drivers Side is way different and I do not want to cut it down.
I put up a “Wanted” Ad but nothing on that and have put in sssooo many e-mails to JYs I have lost track which ones I have send to.
Waiting patiently for something to pop up. 99offroadranger has help me out finding parts and I gave him a list of stuff just in case he happens to see anything.
I didn't get lucky on the seat color, those seats actually used to be the light Grey from earlier years. I ordered leather dye and dyed the seats. They turned out great, and they have a selection of colors, even manufacturers colors. It's stupid proof, and really easy. So don't let the color kill your dreams if you find a good price for a good set.
Anything special that was required, maybe cleaning ?
Do you know the OEM Fuse size ?
Just to make a point a 25 amp circuit should use 12-ga wire minimum andsome good grade of automotive wire.
run it as you like, I am just talking.

It's my understanding that It is a 25-30 amp fuse from the factory. I do not know if there are any other components on that circuit though. I've done reading on ranger-forums, ranger powersports, rangerstation, and myrangerforum, and found ALOT of people just going off of their cigar lighter (IIRC 16g wire). Something I did NOT want to do.
I doubt that the seats will pull anywhere near 25amps. I simply ran the same guage wire that was from the seats harness (14) and fused it with what the consensus of these 4 forums. I don't think that there will be much issue.
I believe that if I was to do anything more, it would be to place a lower size fuse.

You are probably OK especially compared to the Cig-Lighter Connection.

I have a Explorer in the family, I will look in the Owners Manual for to clarify for you.
25-30 is what I have read, but it does not hurt to look.
When you get your seats, you will see it's all 14gauge, at least, as far as I could see in the donor explorer.

My owners manual says, 30amp fuse OEM, BUT Electric Locks and Electric Windows are on the same circuit. This is for a 1996 Ford Explorer Sport.
I don't have electric windows, and my door actuators I wired are on another circuit and fused themselves. 14 gauge wire should pose no issues. :)

No, it's held up EXTREAMLY well. Better than I had anticipated. I tried scratching it off with a quarter on a "test" peice of leather, and it did not flake off at all. The texture feels exactly like leather, it shines like leather. LOOKS FACTORY!

How’s it going ?
I was wondering if you could fill me in on a couple of things:
1) What was the actual color of the dye you used; from the pics it looks like it matched up really well ?
2) Any info along the lines of how your did the dye process would be appreciated; I don’t want to start this and find out I am screwing up ?
