Okay, I'm test fitting my explorer center console and it looks like this.




WTF?!? I thought these were supposed to be a seemless fit! The console is from a '99 Explorer so I would think it would fit, but nooooo. It's giving ME fits. Any ideas? I really don't want to leave my truck torn apart all weekend.

 

part of it you wont see. where you will GO TO THE FABRIC STORE.. and get foam padding its thin and fluffly and nice and white.. pull up the carpet and stuff some in there between the floor pan and carpet and it will seal the deal

 

This is the best way to eliminate the gap. How many mods are as simple as a few bolts and screws? Not that many. This is just another of modding's many adventures and discoveries.

 

Okay, cool. I was hoping it would be something simple like that. I've got some scrap carpet here, I'll try that. Thanks guys for getting back so fast!
