dome light

ok ive seen everyone do this but how do u actually mount it in cuz i got one and i cant get it to mount up and turn on. so i need help?

The lights all have covers that you need to gently pry apart from the light assembly. Then, take out the screws, and it will come off. Two of the screws provide power and ground, so there is no electrical connector. If the light won't work, you probably missed the screw hole and it's not getting power. That, or a bulb burned out. I installed an Explorer light in my XLT, only took two hours of cursing and I got it. :)

Very true, I have to re-use my XLT screws as the Explorer ones were too short.
The light should come on and blind you when the screw makes contact. That always helps the install :(

ok i got a light out of a 90 somthing tarus and the bulb was burnt out. so does anyone know what size bulb it is?

nah, just take the burned out bulb up to any auto parts store (autozone, o'reilly, pep boys, even walmart) then you can easily match it up and buy the right one.

thats what i was goin to do but my mom threw the bulb away :roll:
