sorry, i dont know how any of this worx, is there a way to post my pix so that they are not so HUGE??
thought i was buying the wifey a used dome light, its from a mercury
pic of the back of it had this same white mounting bracket on it, which it does..same size
but it is huge....6"x7" it seems to fit and i can screw it into place..same screw set up
there is no plug in the truck like is attached to the light though, just these two ??sensors?? that are attached
into the mounting area, i have never seen such?? does that somehow relay power to the dome light??
[[ oh i see...that is where the screws mount the light and the screws contact the wires to make the circuit....never seen that ]]
that plug and bulb hanging are from the third brake light outside the cab (not seen bc of bedcover)
any ideas???
I think I could transfer that white circuit board part from the truck to the light/lens and try that so the "sensors" could be used as before
I think I could pull those 2 "sensors" down and wire them to the plug that came attached to the light
I could plug/wire the light to power from the third brake light but then wouldn't she have to hold the brake
anytime she wanted to turn on the light??? heehee
Thanks for any ideas.
