Dome lights?
Well the light that's in there isn't working right. That's why I want led so new led bulbs wouldn't help. I was thinking of rewiring the light But I'm not sure where I can get 5v from to run my LEDs. I tested the dome light and it wasn't even reading. And I'm not sure how to take down the head liner.
Search my threads - I am a professional LED retrofitter, I build a 48 surface mount PCB board that fits the ranger dome light, makes plug-n-play LEDs look like a joke. These are for order in you want one.
I looked at tht 60 led one and it's pretty sweet but I like to make alot of my own stuff. I think I'm going to order up some 12v LEDs unless I can find some around the house and I'm gonna tear down the headliner and re wire my dome light and cargo light. I'll post some pics if I remember
How much, I'm interested!
You may have a bad connection in the dome or the bulb may be shot.
Unscrew the dome & check the terminals & screws for corrosion, then check the black plastic screw blocks in the roof to make sure they're not busted.
A "Mustang" dome light is always an option too. Pretty easy to install.
I have plug-in led's that fit all different types of domes & I have led panels for even more light... but it sounds like you're kinda a do it yourself person, so I'd say to do a little experimenting with some pcb's & led's to see what you come up with.

I've done an LED retrofit myself in my dome light. I used two LED boards I got from superbrightleds.com and just wired them together then directly wired them into the dome light wiring
Nothing like the quality of Buggman and Jp7, but it works for me
