door ajar

door ajar

anyone have trouble w/ the door ajar light staying on. how in the hell do you fix it

i have had trouble with mine usually in the winter though. the switch for them is attached to your door latch in the door. i used wd40 on mine and worked the latch back and forth a few times and it worked.

Yeah the fix is WD-40 then open and close the door a few times

My kept coming on because the rear doors needed slammed shut

oh wow!!! i had that problem when i first got my truck --- i sprayed the crap out of the sensors in the door jam with WD40. it had alot of dirt and grease on it. after jackin with it for about 20 min (spraying, cleanin, openin and shutting the door) it finally went away --- yay.

now watch -- as soon as i say that -- its going to come back and haunt me

Anybody know how to adjust or make the back doors not stick. I need to yank on the passenger side back door to get it to open.

there are ways to adjust it but idk if i would mess with it, my door ajar light comes on too, just get out and slam the back doors they are usually the problem.
