Try spraying the door latches with lithium grease or wd40. Then open it and close it a few times to work it in the latch.

Where would these switches be located?

The light switch is integrated into the door latch. Shoot the door latch with some lithium grease. Fixes it every time, in my experience.

You could do the "BRP" !

Blub Removal Procedure...

I had the problem with the light and dinger staying on, lubed the latches and the hinges and all better now.

Well, I tracked down my problem. The passenger side door switch wire (Gray with Red Stripe) was shorted to ground between the door switch and the SJB.

I did the same thing, broke the cover. So I super glued the damn thing back in place and used a piece of painters tape to hold it in place till it dried. lol My luck the bulb will go out now.

Oh and the door ajar light does the same thing on my Super cab with 4 doors. Just a quirt of lube and all good.
