3) Would anyone be able to possibly find me a floor bracket and the cubby hole part that ya gotta dremel out? All the J/Y around me work the exact same hours as me and it sux

4) Are the first few pics with the standard shifter?
They are all manual transmissions......look at the title manual trans.

As for the dremel, you just take out the cubby. carparts.com has all the parts you need.

Floor bracket and cubby hole? hmmm.....

the older full lengths you dont even need to dremel for the shifter....unless your talking about the switch.

floor bracket......should come with your console....

it got pulled out of a 2000, I don't know if it has it or not, it hasn't arrived yet. I know I'll have to get the cubby hole part though but I should be able to go that with a 8-10 mm screwdriver correct?

BTW to me it looks like in your avatar like theres a pizza delivery sign on your truck shane. Might just be sumthin in the background.

^^HAHA! yea it's a big sign on the other side of the freeway. lol.

Yea......here's Trevor's(TrePaul86) console....used to be mine actually, and tried to fit it w/ stock shifter and 1" bodylift....no such luck. but....the front cubby comes out using 4 phillips or 4 7mm head screws....leaving that nice trim piece you see in all these pics posted earlier in the thread.

So, what happens to the vents and stuff on the back side? Just leave it? If I go to the junkyard, how do I get inside of it to take it off? Just run some screws to mount it?

The vents and stuff just stay there. You cen mess with it if you want.

I'm not too sure how it mounts but i think there are two screws in the back that go into the floor. The front snaps ino the spot where the airbag switch/ashtray goes.

The front bolts in to the spot on the dash. Then theres a bracket in the middle under the inserts that you put 2 bolts/screws in.

But, if you do the 60/40 to 40/40 mod, and leave the 60 a tad bigger, you don't need to secure the rear of the console...just says right there.

Yep. I should have left mine a little bigger, it wiggles a little bit. I should put another bolt in it.

no.......wouldn't meet up with your dash very well at all......

You can however, do the ranger shorty console, or the explorer shorty console.
