Finished Installing Explorer OHC and Mirror

Not bad for a hacker, if I do say so myself.

I want to again thank n3elz (John Griggs) and rwenzing (Bob) for all the guidance and help they provide on this project.

Thanks for the positive feedback. Another thing I was able to do was to hook up my OEM radio headunit to the vehicle speed sensor in order to take advantage of the "speed sensitive volume" function (per Bob's writeup). I have read that most Ranger HUs do not have this SSV feature, but mine does, and it works great now that it's hooked up.

Driving around in my Ranger never felt better!

Looks good! I wanna do the Explorer OHC one day. The second picture looks like you took a picture of an Explorer.

Thanks.

The grab handles came with the truck from the factory (see factory specs here). To be honest, I'd always assumed they were standard on all Rangers.

Hmmm...now that looks familiar..lol! Next time you're at the JY, pick up some the double sun visors with the lighted mirrors out of an Explorer and wire them in too. Might as well go on now that you have started....lol!
