the fix for the ever problemed center console cracking
Group buy? blah. lol....cheap enough. Makes a WORLD of difference without having to worry about cracking your 3rd freakin' armrest base.
I've had mine installed since just before Christmas. Whenever I feel like it, I've gotta post up my full review and revision write up on the product.
I've not seen any fixes for the 60/40 seats. Best bet is to post up your own thread asking.

geez they really need to sell this under ranger parts too, they would sell alot more haha, im happy ill finally be able to get mine fixed, none of the yards around here have one and my genius mother likes to use my armrest to get into my truck, so im happy, thanks for the great find
I am just getting ready to install Bucket Seats, Console and new Carpet and thought it would be a good time to prep for the future, sort of a just-n-case thing.
The bottom of the lid I have is in good condition and I will probably have the base for sale after the fact but I just want to make sure it didn’t brake somewhere down the road.

My 02 with 60/40 seats came new-to-me with a shattered armrest. I made a replacent lid from 3/4" plywood, stapled the padding and fabric back on and reinstalled lid/armrest. Problem solved and it"ll never break again. Total cost: zero (got a pc of scrap plywood free from lumber yard), total time spent: about 45 minutes (mostly in rounding edges of plywood and sanding smooth).
I have never seen this before and would be very interested to see what you all had before, mine is the cloth covered, armrest/storage console that lays right on top of my half seat/middle seat in my 01 xlt. I'd love to find a decent replacement for that if anyone has seen any.
Search that part number above on RockAuto and you'll find it there too. It's only listed under 2001-2004 Explorer Sport Trac and 2004-2011 Ranger, so maybe that's why you couldn't find it.
