Front Windsheild Tint

Thinking about having my front windshield professionally tinted down to about the rear view mirror. Curious to hear peoples opinion that have this done to their ranger or car.

If it is legal its one thing, if its not its another. But it is hard to see at night with it. Depending on how dark you go its like wearing sunglasses at night.

I love it on my truck. Really helps when you're driving into the sun early in the morning or in the evening. Keep in mind that your visibility at night won't be quite as good though. I'll see if I can get some pics from inside my truck sometime this weekend.

I wasn't talking about the AS1 line, that's way too far up the windshield to do any good lol Mine is down to where the rear view is mounted to the windshield.

My tint goes down to where the mirror is mounted, and it's right at 3 inches past the AS1 line. It's kinda hard to see in the pics, but I did the best I could with a cell phone lol

OP, if you want some day or night shots from the inside, I can get you those too. Just let me know.

Best I can get of the AS1 line. I circled it so it's easier to find lol

Measuring

Showing how it lines up with the mirror

Best shot I have right now showing it all from the outside

Thanks Kris! Technically, the tint is only supposed to go down to the AS1 line, but so many people here (including the cop cars) have it as far down as mine so no one ever gets in trouble for it.

Yeah, that would be my only concern for the OP.

i didn't mean literally, i means it the wheels that sold you on liking his truck.... since they are the same wheels you picked out for yours.

Thanks Adam! I have some more ideas up my sleeve for it, but not sure if I want to go through with them yet... I know it'll look really good with a new set of gauges in it lol

Sweet! I wasn't sure if you'd be able to do it today with it being President's Day and all.

Your ranger is amazing! What percent tint do you have up front on the windsheild? I really like they way that looks.

Dave, Im not to sure about doing the whole window. I don't think i would like driving at night.
