Gauge Cluster Clear Plastic

I was wondering if the clear cover over the gauges comes apart from the cluster? I am going to color match the black inside the cluster. If I am confusing you I am talking about the clear cover on the cluster seperating from the cluster so I can get to the black piece that is under the clear piece.

the clear part is glued to the part you plan to match, there are about 6-8 screws holding that whole thing then just take a heat gun or bake it carefully, but it does come apart

that glue is freakin hard to remove. i used a large, sharp kitchen knife to slowly pry it apart.

the whole assembly screws off and then you have to seperate the clear from the black plastic. i used a hair dryer and a knife. TAKE YOUR TIME!!! the first time i rushed it and broke the clear.

ohh crap, it has been so long that i don't remember where i got them :(

i will try to find them though. they cost about $35 and i live near where they where distributed

edit: i think it was procarparts, but it doesn't look like they show as many as they used to. they used to have an animated image that showed mine going from off and on. also the one they now shows says that it has like 6 colors, mine is blue and green with a dimmer switch

Nope, my Canadian truck has glue. I wanted to take off my clear plastic but didn't have the patience and the hair dryer was taking too long.
