Gauge Mod Almost Complete

Yeah, this post is a bit of a teaser. Long story short, my interior is going to green illumination. I got my replacement cluster in last week (good to have one to work on and leave one in the truck), along with some glass paint. Just picked up a $3 paint kit at Walmart. Removed all the blue stain from the back of the faceplates and repainted with green. (I also got creative, painted the km/h indicators and batt/temp/oil/fuel icons blue).

Next step, once laundry is done and I can get outside to do it, is to go outside and warm up the truck, then snap a pic of where the needles are. Then I can go about swapping out the cluster. Probably won't get a good pic of it lit up until tonight. I'm sure that none of the needles are in the right spots, so I'll have to work on that.

Got them lit up, but couldn't finish the swap, it's getting too late. Gotta get the mileage switched over.

(Sorry about the blurry photo. 2 second exposure for photos w/o a flash)

One minor problem now... the lighting isn't uniform. It's kinda visible in the photo, but more pronounced in person. Anyone that's done a mod like this have suggestions for more uniform lighting?

Looks good! If I were motivated enough I would switch everything over to blue, but I am not that motivated or energetic.
