Is it hard to remove the headliner?

I'm going to need to remove the headliner on my 01extended can to try and track down a leak. It's only leaking on the drivers side in the back corner of cab. I was thinking the third brake light may have been letting some water sneak by so I took it off and reseated and resealed it to make it water tight against the truck...so I'm not exactly sure where the water is getting in at. I know others have had this issue, I just haven't had the time to search the forums for a possible solution.

easy as pi, unscrew, unclip, undo anything that seem to be holding it up there

Check your rear window. They can be known to leak. Here's a how to on how to replace it's seal. www.ranger-forums.com/interior-exterior-electrical-123/how-reseal-ranger-rear-window-98-12-a-90474/

It's fairly easy to remove just take your time so you don't get any creases in it. Also, make sure you don't get much of that **** on your skin, specially if you're sweating. fukin sucks lol

I don't think it's the window seal since it looks like its under the corner it's leaking from. It's right next to the hanger behind the driver. I'm still blaming the third brake light but when I looked at my 97, that third brake light doesn't have much of a seal at all and it's never leaked. I can't see where else it would be getting in. It's so bad that I can't even leave it sit in the rain. I guess the next option would be to remove the headliner.

Spray it with a hose around the brake light then pull it and see if there is water behind it.
