help with something (pic included)

ok so i have a question. i stole this pic from gopher18

ok the vent that is used in the hvac system for the explorer, is it used in the ranger as well? also i have seen people with these painted, can they be removed?

they are not used in the ranger, but because the ranger and explorer share the same dash, they are included in the ranger..........yea they just pop out to remove them......

The only one that is used on some Explorers but not on Rangers is the small one to the right of the radio bezel. It is the inlet for the interior temp sensor duct for the high end Explorers equipped with the EATC climate control.

that is what he was talking about.....

Blackranger93......those style consoles were use in Rangers also...........those are the most common type to find in a wrecked explorer....i had the hardest time finding a full length console....

see I need the old school because of my old dash...I got the 93-94 style... maybe I can find a tan one, b/c I gave up on tan armrest, couldn't find any in good shape...

Those of us with the EATC in our rangers use them!
