maybe this will help.

1. one wire from LED going to resistor other to center wire?
2. connect to positive or negative OHC wire?
3.size resistor?
4. connect to positive or negative OHC wire?

it doesn't matter what side the resister is on, jsut as long as you have the LED going in the right direction. Normally, people wire it up liek this:

+12->resister->LED-> 0V.

I think they use 1k ohm resister, but not sure. i'd have to do the math and figure it out, but other people have done it so they'll chime in.

Grigg's Cardomain also has a a couple pages dedicated to calculating the needed resistor with a formula.

 

Hahaha, well then, maybe just read some stuff off google or sometihgn to get yourself in the knowledge of what you'd be doing.

LED are diodes...they will only work wired up one way.

Oh, and if you jsut buy a bundle of LEDs off eBay, they usually have the correct size resistor included, as the resistor depends on the type of LED you buy.
