How to make ipod stick

With my new stereo I like putting my iPod into the little slot below the stereo. It slides out all the time and is driving me nuts.

The guys and gals that use that spot how do you keep your iPod or what not from falling out?

My stereo controls the iPod from the head unit. There is no need to use the iPod.

iPod... on a steeck!!

I've used cabinet or tool drawer liner, works great for me and you can get whatever color you want usually.

I got mine in my ashtray. I ran the wire behind the dash and then cut a slot in the astray so the wire can be pulled through. Works like a charm and is easy to get at when I want to take it out, just unplug and close the ashtray. I think i have a picture if you want.

I don't have a picture with the ipod in it but you can see the wire. Its really easy to get at and easy to hide when not in use.

I just have one of those sticky grip mats shoved in there....holds the ipod pretty well.
Only problem with those things are they lose there stickiness fairly easy.
But they work.

Start chewing bubblegum. It's sticky and you can stick it in a different place each time to break up the monotony.

get a silicone case for your ipod. looks good, protects your ipod, stops it from sliding and is cheap.
