I have a traffic camera that plugs into the cigarette lighter for power. I frequently forget to unplug it, and end up with a dead battery. I want to hard-wire it into a switched power source. Suggestions for an easy place to tap?

The fuse panel. Find a circuit that's on the ignition.

If, by 'traffic camera', you mean 'dash cam', you'll likely need to convert it to 5volts
